ANSWEAR THE QUESTION.

Will technology ever come to a standstill?

Impossible is nothing, as the adidas slogan says. With the development of science, technology will grow alongside. Future life could demand certain technology to improve way of life for the publics need, this will mean invention will never stop when there is always something better that can be achieved.

If we look at the evolvement of television screens we know that they were once as small as a reading book and people loved it but now we want big full HD screens because we care about the quality we watch, also the modern, less space taking aspect of it. Most recently were seeing an interactive tv that is a combination of tv and pc, it's all for a easier way of life. With every new gadget you may have the first generation and the second generation..with the first generation being the original and the second generation being the better updated one. The ipod touch is an example as the second generation has speakers, it is a slight difference but that difference could have been the reason behind the other peoples decision to not buy the first generation ipod. We could argue it is the institutions marketing technique to create competiton between people to have the best ipod therefore the newest one will be represented as that, creating desire to want it. However it could just be that that technology was not available then, which links to our question.
